There are also lots of people who think my concerns about purity testing is overblown. I hope they're right.

OPINION: Legal technicalities shouldn’t obscure the bigger picture. Neil Herland deserves admiration for speaking out after encountering pro-Palestine protesters outside Yom Kippur services, regardless of whether bubble laws technically applied.

The "AI training is copyright theft" critique just doesn't seem relevant to me if you think that AIs are now, or ever will be, capable of "learning", outside of the possible technicality of the ingestion pipeline making copies. And it may be that we need those technicalities to slow things down...

Previously I'd make them implement marching squares on CPU (and re-upload the relevant data to GPU each frame), but over the years I've come to realize this task is more about algorithm technicalities and less about graphics itself (plus this better be done with compute anyway).
