The Spring migrant bird species have been arriving at Tegg’s Nose Country Park in recent weeks. Chiffchaff, then Willow Warbler followed by Blackcap. Ranger Martin was thrilled to hear one of his favourites, a Pied Flycatcher in Teggsnose Wood and even happier to get this photo this morning.

Ranger Martin has been lots of deer signs at Tegg's Nose Country Park this winter. The tracks and droppings can be found all across the slopes and within Teggsnose Wood showing how extensively the Red Deer are travelling through the site. Red Deer are Britain's largest land mammal.
