Too sore to attend the last day of Tekkoshocon but it was a wonderful 3 out of 4 days spent with amazing friends and loved ones. I'm Molly D Luffy and I'm gonna be king of the con!

The first con I ever went to was Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh. When I got there the elevators opened and smoke poured out. I’d never been to a con before and thought it was an effect and got super excited. Nope. The same building was hosting Vape Con in the adjoining hall.

Been on GaiaOnline since June 2003. I have made life long friends there, used to run Gaia panels at conventions like Tekkoshocon and ColossalCon, and has been the main influence for my lifelong persona Skookum. I remember being invited in Feb when it launched via invite links!

never forgot drinking like 6 of these at tekkoshocon in one night and then foolishly trying to sleep and being perplexed as to why I could feel every organ in my body

Vic might not know when the rumor panel was, but Lemoine does. Because Lemoine DID HIS HOMEWORK. It was nearly a decade earlier, which is very helpful for showing just how long Vic has had reputation problems.

So my King K. Rool cosplay for #Furfest isn't the first... In 2008, at Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh, I wore Codex 1.0 with a K. Rool outfit. I wanted to blend in a bit more with the anime community since furries had a bad rap in the anime fandom at the time. What a difference 17 years makes!

Introduce yourself with 5 concerts you’ve seen.
1. Chicago (Local PA State fair)
2. The Protomen (MAGFest)
3. Interstella 5555 (Daft Punk - Animated)
4. SOUNDWITCH (Tekkoshocon Afterparty)
I was never really invited to concerts so there are only 4 I can remember.

Ages ago, purely because two friends wanted to go as a group cosplay to Tekkoshocon, I cosplayed Roy Mustang (if I went back and revisited those decisions I’d have been Greed or Pride - not the point).
I was not Roy Mustang shaped. Still had a perfectly lovely time. Cosplay for the joy of it.

I keep this list on FA for my own reference. I feel some kind of way about the new era of it all. 🥺❤️
The only times I haven't attended Anthrocon in my adult life were my years in the EU (2010 study abroad, 2023-present living here).

So, for those who don't know me yet - I'm Michael. I spent my earlier life in Pennsylvania and my later life in Arizona.
I use the codename Red Comet because my first two cosplays at Tekkoshocon 2004 were Zechs Meequise and Char Aznable, and Red Comet sounded better than Ligthning Baron.

Not much was heard about the project until 2006 when Matt Greenfield, co-founder of ADV, made statements about it at Tekkoshocon including:
There was a script
Three “A List” directors were interested in the project
They had a pitch that included Robin Williams advocating for it

I remember meeting them way back at the first Tekkoshocon and quite a few years at Ohayocon in the early to mid 2000's. May she rest in peace.
