Blattschneiderbienen (Megachile) sind effiziente Sammler: Mit den Borsten am Unterleib werden Pollen gesammelt (daher nennt man sie auch Bauchsammler), den Nektar saugen sie wie andere Bienen auch. Auf meiner Großen Telekie sind sie regelmäßig Gast. Übrigens: Wildbiene des Jahres 2025 🤩

Im Hintergrund verblasst bereits eine ältere Blüte, während frisches Grün den Rahmen bildet. 🇬🇧 A fuzzy, rust-tailed bumblebee — likely a red-tailed bumblebee (Bombus lapidarius) — burrows deep into the disc of a yellow composite flower, possibly a Telekia.
