lol i am very sorry to report that Koreans never saw a dish they didn't want to hide secret meat in BUT there's been a boom of interest in temple food (which is veg) and there are a lot of templestay programs with temple food
From a food perspective, I'm vegetarian - is this going to be a problem?
Are there particular kinds of food, or regions, I should stick to?

Sekisho-in temple lodging was comfortable, with a toilet (heated seat!) and bathroom in each room. Our white breath floated in the corridors but our well-heated rooms apparently helped us all sleep quickly & deeply until breakfast. #TempleStay #JapanTravel #Wakayama

..."excuse me, sir, you look like the actor from The Pianist". It really made my husband's day, and we got to ask about the templestay. You have to wake up early and help around the temple. At that particular temple, at least, you get to ring the bell at sunset.

The temptation is extremely strong right now to depart from my existing life & go spend several weeks at a Korean templestay. I am absolutely sick of my own mind at the moment. Maybe 108 prostrations a day would sort it out.
