No matter what violin/viola/cello/stand-up bass players will tell you, those are just soprano, alto, tenor, and bass versions of the same instrument, and I'm tired of pretending they're not

My argument, and one I think most of these people would agree with, is that the coverage should be commensurate with the importance of the issue and while the NYT does say bad things about Trump, the overall tenor of their coverage is misleading.

Tenor Mauro Peter's Schubert revelatory; mezzo Fleur Barron's Mahler off the rails. Shame that such a beautifully planned programme didn't work. theartsdesk.com/opera/barron...

If you're wondering why streetlights are out, why your sidewalks are broken, or why your road is full of potholes...it's because Karen Bass spent your taxpayer dollars in return for political favors.

The choice is on the ballot. Change, or more of the same, failed status quo. Vote today.

Besis y vuelvan a participar, caretas

This has been the entire tenor of the media's coverage this election. Absolutely fuck all on 'What does the country actually need at this time of environmental collapse, crumbling infrastructure and geopolitical turmoil?' but plenty of 'This person talks better than that one or something'

The asymmetry is a problem. This is reported with the tenor of it being fraud--with the concession that it's legal and frequently done by both parties coming several paragraphs in. Meanwhile there are new rape allegations against the President that have gotten little coverage by the same outlets.
