Many, MANY people assume that they COULD make good art given the time, and thus do not consider good art to be worth paying for. It happens to me a lot as a textile artist, and I think music falls into this category because a lot of people know someone who’s like, pretty good at guitar or whatever
All other issues aside, why do people think they have any business doing this? Making me music is a professional job. I’m not qualified to assign an artist to cover a song wut.
