I'd had the House on Fire ruins in Bear's Ears Natl Mon. in Utah on my list for awhile, and expected it might be a tough haul to get there. It was actually a pretty easy hike up a wash, only a few miles in, IIRC. Keep Bear's Ears Public!

When Gregory said “Fruit should not be hot!” I cheered, because that is verbatim something I have said. 😅In my food aversion cookbook COLOR TASTE TEXURE I worked hard to be texture agnostic, but I still have my numerous aversions.
Pizza is one of my Samefoods but I adore Gregory’s Autistic abhorrence of it.

Three things I learned today:
1) Pitas, when sliced & toasted, have a texure remarkably similar to English muffins.
2) Frozen cream cheese can be thawed in an air fryer in the original foil. 6 minutes at 260 F leaves it soft enough to slice & spread.
3) Crying gives one a wretched headache.

oils are much better for painting skulls, so much easier to get the texure (oils are better for almost everything tbh) but it's good to try difficult things sometimes!

Thurisaz is a girthy and stout insertable with loads of little details and texure, like the Jacob's Ladder piercings and leather armor details. We preserved the original proportions, and just added a bit of our own flair to it ✨

My original suit was made back in 2021, and while I created new versions of my owl I never updated the suit textures or model, just reused it. I felt my skills at texturing had improved a lot since 2021 so I wanted to re-texure it to see what I could do.
