Apollo and Daphne (Bernini) - view one. What one would have seen entering the room, legs, a back, flowing cloth. Apollo and Daphne (Bernini) - view two. Entering further and the story is revealed but both figures appear mostly human. Apollo and Daphne (Bernini) - view three. Completing the view and the story, forced on Daphne transforming, roots, bark, leaves and terror. A detail, Apollo and Daphne (Bernini), him unaware still of the product of his chase, her dreading the embrace and crying to her father to transform her
