I've just begun writing the 2nd volume of #TheNewPriapeia but I do love volume one! Intended to be an intro chapter to a much larger work, I fell in love with the relationship between Jule and his Priapus-worshipping grandfather and just stayed with it. Come to the garden and see for yourself.

I just hit 10K (literally, I happened to glance down at the exact moment) in #TheNewPRIAPEIA volume 2. So far, I love how this is developing. It took longer to get Jule home to the garden from NYC than I was expecting, but he's back and growing like a weed.

I've barely gotten 5K into Volume 2 of #TheNEWPriapeia but its inspired all kinds of creative flow, so I'm riding it. Just to give you a little something, so far, Jule is not enjoying his time in NYC -- the swim coach doesn't like his big... you know.

I know 5K isn't a lot, but it's a start -- and it gets me through what's been a difficult sequence to write. What I thought would be a single page of exposition has ended up at 5K -- so like me. Damn you, present tense!
