A pair of square color photographs. On the left is a large sculpture made of actual canoes, Monochrome for Austin by Nancy Rubins. On the right is a Dasylirion leiophyllum, Desert Spoon, a plant with sharp teeth-like prickles along their long, shiny, bright green, fibrous leaves.
