Why “theheroinewithin”

My mother’s name was Heroina.
She was raised traditionally yet she raised me for possibility.

As I rewrote the script, she cheered me on.

I learned to be brave.
To honor my inner heroine.

Her love was my launchpad.
My life is her legacy.
