Sudden crazy idea of the day, what if I could parse WordPress' theme.json via 11ty to create a custom CSS file for use in static templates:

const themeJSON = JSON.parse(await readFile(new URL('./theme.json', import.meta.url)));
eleventyConfig.addGlobalData('theme', themeJSON);

And I think I can!
