I just backed The Moon Odyssey: an animated comedy-adventure on @kickstarter.com www.kickstarter.com/projects/the... #TheMoonOdyssey

From work to after work activities. The Moon Odyssey is hard at work! #kickstarter #indieanimation #themoonodyssey #blackcreatives

The second posting spotlighted another six Black #indieanimations, particularly #TheMoonOdyssey, T-Effect: The Angel’s Sun, Hero Corps: Deep Genesis, #Indigo, #CaptainZero, and #Mmanwu. bsky.app/profile/hist... (42/?)

For full transparency, I have given to #TheMoonOdyssey, #Syrenka, and #Daising. I plan to contribute to #TheThreeTomes - Episode 2 as soon as that #Kickstarter starts. (108/?)

I also talk about all five seasons of #StevenUniverse, spotlight a recent crowdfunding campaign for the Black #indieanimation hey., and those for #TheMoonOdyssey and #Daising, and review an indie animated pilot, #Heathens (4/?)

This week, we show you one of our favorite interviews this season. The way sisters Kay and Dom from @TheMoonOdyssey speak life into each other and their work!!

I also described #TheMoonOdyssey, i.e. @discoveringjoy9.bsky.social, T-Effect: The Angel’s Sun, Hero Corps: Deep Genesis, #Indigo, @captainzerotas.bsky.social, and #Mmanwu in part 2 (124/?) bsky.app/profile/hist...

The official YouTube channel is full of videos, mostly by Kay and Dom, which I’ll summarize in this section. In one of the first videos, it is noted that while the idea for the series was first conceived in 2023, it wasn’t until 2025 that they were in a place to make an animated series (26/?)

Additionally, there's #T-Effect: The Angel’s Sun (official trailer), #WIRD (multiple episodes), #TheMoonOdyssey (videos by creator), Crocodile Dance (trailer and official teaser), #TerriStarstrike (episodes 1-2), #.hey (multiple videos), #Nimberly (pilot), and #Waves (animated short film) (133/?)
