The designs only really work with handcrafted dungeons. But im sure thered be some way to implement some form of it in a way that wont be even more difficult than procedural generation already is.

I kinda just mentioned 90s as some pixel art games I see seem to replicate early 90s 2d games. I didnt mean to conflate 90s with early.
though now that you mention it, I bet by the time retro-3d games get to the point where pixel art is today, thered be plenty of mid-late 00s style games in the mix

thered still be a lot of pitfalls if you try to make a PC port with nonsense LLM code especially if it's in sections that interface with the OS or video drivers, but those pitfalls are non obvious to non-technical people so it makes sense that they would think that the code quality doesn't matter.

^this, i think the author of the post might have significantly overrated how hard it is for claude to make a "photoshop-like" from scratch without decompilation
if it was truly decompiled and tested against the real apps, thered be a lot less bugs

You would imagine it would be really easy and much cheaper and to the benefit of society and physical building of things if apprenticeships for all the trades were paid for by government. Thered be a far higher take up and end results

Yeah, kinda. There was some calamity that the player keeps getting told about, and the key spheres unlock where it was sealed away. About as basic as it gets… i figured thered be a lore drop once i encountered the “calamity” but… just a fight and nothing 😛 not even any dialogue
