There WILL be cosplayers at #DinoCon (Aug 16-17, University of Exeter). So, the big question... will anyone be attending dressed as a therizinosaur?? www.dinocon.co.uk

Reevaluation of the theropod dinosaur Geminiraptor: journals.plos.org/plosone/arti... Once thought to be a troodontid, now reclassified as a second species of the therizinosaur Falcarius. (Skull of F. utahensis for comparison in [A].) 🪶🧪 (📷 @freewillie643.bsky.social et al.)

Can I interest you in a dinosaur fact?

Beipiaosaurus is a therizinosauroid that lived in the Early Cretaceous of what is now China.

It was relatively small for a therizinosaur, at about 2.2 meters (3ft) long.

Their necks were also much shorter than most therizinosaurs.

Is it worth posting ultra ultra low detail sketches like this?
Obviously inspired by two new papers, the therizinosaur Duonychus, and evidence for face-biting behavior in hererrasaurids.
