A cherry syrup and confectionary sugar sweetness grows as the dram matures. There's a subtle damp leaf litter funk hummin along in the background too. #thewhiskeychaps

Palate: Quite a thin mouthfeel. Lemon pepper, apricot ripple vanilla ice cream, vanilla and white chocolate. A sharp berry sweetness also appears at this point. #thewhiskeychaps

Overall: There's nothing unpleasant about this whisky at all, it's very friendly and unthreatening. If you're after something a bit different then this isn't it, but it is a very nice predictable and solid dram. #thewhiskeychaps

Palate: A semi-viscous mouthfeel. Light black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, rich fruit and pasty, cherry cheesecake springs to mind. Some orange and vanilla also join the flavours pretty promptly too. #thewhiskeychaps
