Thimerosal has **never** been part of MMR vaccines.
These vaccines require viruses to replicate in your body to work. Thimerosal would inactivate them. Hence it has never been in MMR.

While we're at it, no single-dose vaccines - which is all of the ones on the pediatric vaccine schedule - in the United States contain thimerosal and have not since the 1990s. Thimerosal was *never* in the MMR vaccine.
Vaccines do not contain any fetal tissue or cells, nor do they contain any cells derived from fetal materials.
