Charities, trade unions & thinktanks have called for a package of universal energy support as well as targeted help for vulnerable households.

Just did an interesting survey on Burnham's conference speech.
Of course I opted for a 'full fat' rejoin - Euro, Schengen etc.
And PR before the next General Eleciton
I hope it's one of the surveys that are being fed back to No.10

Just did an interesting survey on Burnham's conference speech.
Of course I opted for a 'full fat' rejoin - Euro, Schengen etc.

'Brexit' was a post-imperial spasm, Britain's right-wing corporate press having turned decades of EU membership into xenophobia (while Ireland used its opportunity to become post-nationalist and prosperous). The article brings up opposition leaders.
It was noticeable after Burnham's speech, that Reform focussed on the triple lock scrapping and Tories on their latest Youth Slavery scheme rather than Brexit.
They know supporting Brexit is a vote loser now.
It's done too much damage.

All well and good. But if I was Number 10 then (no offence folks!!) I wouldn't put much weight behind MRP push polling or frankly stupid poll questions about the Euro.
Suggestion: commission some serious work the political framing and real-world trade-offs.
