If the Sisters of Twilight were reborn in the Mortal Realms but merged into one entity, would you call them Naestrahan or Araestra?

Knight-Vexillor, the hero that literally binds the army together.

My favourite conversion that set the direction of the Thorncast, with his healing represented by regrowing lost limbs with roots & branches.

#Thorncast #AgeofSigmar #WarhammerCommunity
Helmeted knight generating verdant growth in his outstretched hand to stitch together his wounded brethren, replacing flesh with vines & armour with ironbark. Kitbashed from Treelord bits, Wild Rider mask & some greenstuff to blend with the vines from the revenant kit.

When times are dire, the Thorncast leaders are accompanied by a Verdant Incarnate (fondly referred to as a tree-snek).

#Thorncast #AgeofSigmar #WarhammerCommunity
The Lord of Thorns. Baroque armoured knight accompanied by a swirling Incarnate of Ghyran. Counts as Celestant Prime. The Lady. Ethereal deity carrying a thornstaff, protected by the same Incarnate. Counts as Ionus. Incarnate of Ghyran. Modelled after the Krondspine, but with a nature theme & using treeman bits plus lots of green stuff vines.

Will be entering the #Thorncast into my local GW's Armies on Parade this weekend, so thought I'd also take a picture for a cheeky online submission.

On the train ride back from last weekend's incredible narrative event at Witney, I was joined at the table seats by 2 young children & their mum, who wanted to see my army hiding in its Really Useful Box.

A heartwarming thread - 1/?

This FW Carmine Dragon has been sitting in a box for far too long. Finally gave it a bubble bath & time to Forest Dragonify it. Wish me luck.

Not pictured, UV reactive paint revealing hidden details. Thorncast: a what-if army, if the Haven wasn't destroyed, would descendants of Bretonnia's finest & Wood Elves harness the power of nature & fae magic.
