In my AU, sparkmerging isn't sexual. in fact, sexual acts and sexual reproduction doesn't even exist. Sparkmerging is a way to get closer to someone- typically your friends or partners. Sharing ones whole consciousness and heart is one of the most emotionally vulnerable and intimate things that you can do with someone. To let someone in and have them essentially look over and potentially judge what makes you 'you'- all of your core values and feelings, your thoughts and perception of the world, can be nerve wracking- luckily this flock all likes what they see in each other :) describing the image: Starscream is being his silly self and bearing his spark to his two partners: TC and Skywarp, in an intimate and vulnerable show of affection. they are merging sparks, holding hands (with 3 rings on each of their left hand ring fingers). TC and Skywarp are facing away from the observer, Starscream is facing the onlooker, feeling like the final puzzle piece has fallen into place perfectly. very satisfyingly, like a perfect pull of that clear film you peel off of phones and mirrors when you first get them. They are all very content and enjoying the experience, but they're missing a partner... wonder where he could be?
