my halloween spider molted last week, and she's still quite light! last time she darkened up a lot faster. she looks really cool 🥰 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosa #tigrosageorgicola #arachnophiles
A light tan wolf spider is resting in her enclosure. The center of her cephalothorax is dark, almost black, with off white edges around that and a bold, light stripe right down the middle.

it looks like she's staying this pale color this time, which is interesting because usually she's a rich brown! it's really pretty 😊 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosa #tigrosageorgicola #arachnophiles
A spider with pale, ghostly coloration. The majority of her is off-white, except for the black center of her cephalothorax. This dark patch has a white stripe going down the center of it.

miss tigrosa georgicola is quite a bit smaller than the new tigrosa helluo ladies, but she's so gorgeous 🥹 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosa #tigrosageorgicola
A brown wolf spider with a stripe going down the center of her cephalothorax, starting as tan by the abdomen and ending up orange at her eyes.

a morning check in with the wolf spider friends 💕 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosa #tigrosahelluo #tigrosageorgicola #arachnophiles
A large, dark brown wolf spider. She is a Tigrosa Helluo named Truffle. She is resting on a piece of bark in her enclosure, looking gorgeous. She recently laid an egg sac, but it didn't work out so she is not carrying it. A large, brown wolf spider with spots on her abdomen. She is a Tigrosa Helluo named Miss Spots who is staying with us until it is warm enough to release her. She was caught locally but isn't enjoying being kept as much as Truffle. She is very pretty though! A wolf spider with a dark brown cephalothorax with a tan stripe running all the way down it to a tan colored abdomen with spots. He is a Tigrosa Georgicola named Bonbon. He is very handsome. He is the only one of my wolf spiders that was captive bred.

the new wolf spider is quite a looker! as a halloween spider, it's only natural i find some kind of spooky name for her, right? 👻 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosa #tigrosageorgicola #arachtober #arachnid #invertebrate
A picture of a wolf spider on a piece of bark. She is nearly the same color as it, a soft grayish brown She does have darker brown bits as well, such as her abdomen, and one very light stripe going down the center of her cephalothorax.

the wolfies are looking absurdly plump after their meals yesterday 🤭 #spider #wolfspider #trochosaruricola #tigrosageorgicola
A small brown wolf spider rests in the corner of her enclosure. Her abdomen is quite large, indicating she is well fed. A larger and darker brown wolf spider is stretched out and looking similarly round in the abdomen. She had quite a meal yesterday!

A dark wolf spider with a light stripe down the cephalothorax is resting on a piece of cork bark. She has a small jack-o'-lantern in her enclosure, which she is reaching forward to rest one foot on.

it looks like bonbon's actually a mature male! i didn't notice until now because i thought they were still just a juvenile, but he's a tiny man! 🔍 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosa #tigrosageorgicola #arachnophiles
A cream and dark brown wolf spider if contemplating eating a mealworm. If you know spider anatomy and look closely, you can see the palpal bulbs on the pedipalps that indicate a fully grown male. The same spider from a different angle, showing off the palpal bulb on the other pedipalp.

she's having her first meal here today! her stripe is quite orange towards her face, and goes directly in the middle of all her eyes 🥹 #spider #wolfspider #tigrosageorgicola
A wolf spider with a small cricket between her fangs. She is mostly a soft brown, with subtle dappling all over. The one marking that does stick out is a stripe down the center of her cephalothorax. It is quite a bit lighter than the rest of her, starting out tan on the abdomen side and turning orange shortly before it reaches her eyes.

the babies are here, and oh, they've stolen my heart already!!! 💖 #tarantula #acanthoscurriageniculata #spider #wolfspider #tigrosageorgicola #arachtober
A picture of a baby tarantula, being taken out of her shipping container. She is extraordinarily tiny compared to the fingers holding her. The tarantula baby is now in her new enclosure, sitting on a piece of cork bark as she decides where to go. You can faintly see the stripes on her legs that her species is known for! A wolf spider, also quite young but bigger than the baby tarantula, also sits in her new enclosure. She is overall quite a deep, dark brown, with a slightly lighter abdomen and a very light stripe going down the middle of her cephalothorax.
