The flip side of
timeblindness management that makes it difficult for alot of us is that being on time for something at like, 7, UNLESS I'M ALREADY OUT AND ABOUT like going straight from work to another thing, I can't really do sh*t after 2. Bc I'm like "I gotta start getting ready between 3 & 4"

Being late is ultimately rude, but as someone who sits firmly on the time blindness side I’d ADHD, it can be way more than “you don’t respect other people.”

i have adhd and timeblindness and i didn't know it until a year ago, but even then i made it my mission to stop being late, especially VERY late to things bc I didn't like the anxiety of it or the shame i felt making others wait. so i learned to plan backward from the time of the event.
