I will say, this is why I wish someone were actually working on something like an Open Source locally hostable equivalent to TinkerCAD.
And no, I don't mean some fiddly Blender add-on, I mean something beginner-friendly, that's the whole point of TinkerCAD!

The thing to do about all this, for now, is the same as always: when possible, avoid becoming dependent on things you don't have any control over. (most) AI falls squarely into that category: something you don't control that's easy to become dependent on, but it's optional and you don't have to

I’ve been noodling on what I wanted for a makers mark for my pottery. I finally figured it out. Used one of my late ratties paw prints as a model and made my final initial into a rat paw print. I made a 3d model in Tinkercad and printed it on my 3d printer. I’m so thrilled with how it came out

I love TinkerCAD for making terrain that is very uniform and needs to be repeatable at different sizes. A one-off piece these days I might use Plasticity, but for my modular 6mm cityscape buildings that stack floors, TinkerCAD 100%

Or use a public one! Libraries and maker spaces have 3d printers available for the cost of materials or a small membership fee, and will even teach you how to use one 🙂↕️
