A recently completed illustration of a Tinselfish for today's #SundayFishSketch 🐡
An illustration of a Spotted Tinselfish. The fish is diamond shaped, with the body being nearly as deep as it is long. The fine, elongated scales are silvery/metallic in color, and the fish has a very large eye. 5 long spines are in front of the dorsal fin, and 2 spines are in front of the anal fin. The tail fin has black tips.

It's Called Fashion Look It Up. Tinselfishes are a family of deep-sea fishes that get their name from their silvery color. But if that is not enough, juveniles even have tinsel-like extensions trailing from their anal fin.
