One takeaway from my IBO rewatch that i'm slowly finding out which character animation director I like the most in its current rotation, which would be Juri Toida.
IBO might not have the most consistent animation quality which I don't mind, but there are points where I notice it gets really good.

One takeaway from my IBO rewatch that i'm slowly finding out which character animation director I like the most in its current rotation, which would be Juri Toida.

the bit at the end looked very g witchy and I like that because it’s my favorite aesthetic of any modern gundam
and the closeups of the new gundam’s faces made them all look really hot (except the one without face lines)

There's a cut in the recent Gundam Hathaway PV that looked alot like Shinya Ohira's work and well,
I'm guessing it was him since the entire staff credit list was released on the site.
(On another note, I do like that Amuro's got both the brown and blue eyes to match that extra UC inconsistency)

Teleseeriate tegemine funktsionaalselt toimivatest peredest ei toida. Selleks, et asi müüks, tuleb teha need düsfunktsionaalsetest peredest, sõlmes suhetest, üle käte lastest jne.

Though, i'm a bit unsure about Mika since I know Toida and Chiba were chara animators on the show, with Toida's eps looking just as good as Chiba's, nor the rest of the cast.
