I'm just walking a bit after I was hiking a local mountain. And this is really a #silentsunday photo for me.

Winter has arrived 😊
#badtölz #tölzerland #bayern #sunset
A serene winter landscape unfolds as the sun begins to set, casting a warm, golden glow across a tranquil river. The river, partially covered in a thin layer of ice, reflects the soft light of the setting sun and the bare branches of the surrounding trees. The trees, stripped of their leaves, stand tall and stark against the pale blue sky, their silhouettes adding a sense of calm and stillness to the scene. The riverbank is dusted with a light layer of snow, creating a delicate contrast with the darker earth and rocks beneath. In the distance, rolling hills and a small cluster of buildings are visible, their outlines softened by the evening light. The sky above is a blend of soft blues and warm oranges, with a few wispy clouds adding texture and depth. This peaceful winter scene captures the quiet beauty of nature during the colder months, evoking a sense of tranquility and reflection. The interplay of light, water, and snow creates a moment of serene beauty, inviting a pause to appreciate the simple wonders of the natural world.

Plan C turned out to be a nice day in the mountains. But Woah was there a chill wind. Good that I was prepared.

Two curious cows stand side by side on a gentle, grassy slope, their coats a mix of rich brown and white patches. Their eyes are bright and inquisitive, reflecting a sense of calm and gentle curiosity as they face the camera. The cows, adorned with yellow ear tags, seem at ease in their natural surroundings, their breath visible in the cool, crisp air. The landscape around them is a blend of open pasture and rolling hills, dotted with a few scattered trees and framed by a dense forest in the background. The sky above is overcast, casting a soft, diffused light over the scene and enhancing the peaceful, rural atmosphere. The ground beneath their hooves is a mix of earth and sparse grass, hinting at the changing seasons. This pastoral scene captures the tranquility of countryside life, where nature’s simplicity and the gentle presence of animals create a sense of harmony and serenity. The cows, with their calm demeanor, add a touch of warmth and charm to the landscape, embodying the idyllic beauty of rural living. A breathtaking panoramic view unfolds under a vast, clear blue sky, where rolling hills and dense forests stretch out toward the horizon. The foreground is a gentle, sunlit slope covered in golden grass, leading the eye toward clusters of evergreen trees that dot the landscape. Their deep green needles contrast beautifully with the warm tones of the grass and the vibrant blue of the sky. In the distance, layer upon layer of forested hills and mountains rise, their peaks softened by a delicate haze. The highest ridges are crowned with a blanket of clouds, adding a sense of depth and mystery to the scene. The air is crisp and clean, carrying the faint scent of pine and earth, while the sunlight bathes the landscape in a warm, inviting glow. This serene and expansive vista captures the essence of untouched wilderness, offering a sense of peace and freedom. It’s a moment that invites contemplation, where the beauty of nature’s grandeur and the tranquility of the countryside come together in perfect harmony.

Ohh what a nice surprise! I was just reading the recent #bergwelten magazine, turned the page and an article about my hometown was to come 😊

Nice photos and nice story about #gravelbiking nearby.

Two cyclists ride along a gravel path surrounded by lush greenery. They wear helmets and cycling gear, enjoying a bright and sunny day. A German-language information board titled "Am Wasserweg" details the cycling route, mentioning landmarks like the Isar River and Bad Tölz. Trees frame the background, with glimpses of the river enhancing the scenic setting. A book lies open, showing a page with a full-page color photograph of a misty mountain range with dense green forests. The opposite page features German text, formatted in a clean and elegant font, introducing a nature-themed topic. The lighting in the image is soft and natural, emphasizing the textures of the book and the wooden background.

First cycling of the year!
I tested non-breathable rain pants over my cycling trousers. - Yes, windproof. But condensation inside. Rest was okay.

Good to get out and active for almost an hour.

Had a nice coffee and cake today.

#badtölz #tölzerland #cafebeansandleaves
A delectable slice of layered cheesecake takes center stage on a rustic wooden table, its vibrant colors and textures inviting a moment of indulgence. The cheesecake features a rich, dark crust at the base, topped with a creamy white layer, and a glossy red fruit glaze that adds a pop of color. Dollops of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crunchy toppings adorn the surface, enhancing both the visual appeal and the promise of a delightful mix of flavors. Beside the cheesecake, a freshly brewed cappuccino sits in a simple white cup, its creamy foam forming a perfect contrast to the rich dessert. The cup is placed on a matching saucer, accompanied by a neatly folded napkin and a spoon, ready for use. In the background, a menu lies open on the table, suggesting a cozy café setting. The warm, inviting ambiance of the café, combined with the tantalizing dessert and aromatic coffee, creates an atmosphere perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. This scene captures the simple pleasures of savoring a delicious treat in a comfortable environment.
