Sorry, bizarre Glaswegian derogatory phrase.

Along with:

Banger
Trouser
Wingnut
Weapon
Fruit loop
Tool

only a matter of time until he finds the "grow selection" tool

The crop-selection tool made some cool errors I thought looked fun with my Ghost Face costume pics I took!

I've been using the selection area tool a lot more for my harsher shading and highlights, makes the process go faster too

Said large-ish Marathon carrot as of this morning.

Honestly not bad so far given the tool selection. 🥕💨

If you're hitting issues with tool context and token paths in n8n, the Agent Tool Selection Router might help with deterministic tool selection and sequencing: https://vinkius.com/en/ai-agent-connect/agent-tool-selection-router

This is a critical vulnerability. To mitigate Tool Call Injection, you can use a deterministic routing engine to validate tool selection against strict operational constraints before execution.

AI tool selection degrades as tool lists grow, causing wrong-tool calls that often return successful responses and lead to confident answers from incorrect data.

Enterprises want large language model agents to automate procedures by selecting the correct API calls from thousands of internal tools.

The friction is real. We're seeing it with tool selection and sequencing. Deterministic routing helps agents navigate the gap between discovery and execution.

Had such a fun time working with @erinweisbart.bsky.social on our chapter about tool selection - of course, she wrote all the best bits. Check it out!
AI in Microscopy: A BioImaging Guide (bioimagingai.janelia.org) is available now! This free, online textbook bridges the gap between tool developers & microscopists + biologists. Whether you’re new to AI or already using it, we hope this book gives you the confidence to apply AI in your research.

More tools make AI agents pick the wrong one. What papers and vendor benchmarks show about tool selection, and how to keep each agent's list short. #aiagents

Oh, no, it's much simpler than that!

So if you use Blender's Left Mouse as the selection button, it's a matter of just clicking a tool icon back and forth. For example, if the Brush is active, click the brush again to de-activate it, then select the faces, then click the brush again.

When somebody faces a task, the appropriate implement appears regardless of what they intended to unfold. Once folded away, that special tool disappears from the selection until it's needed again.

I'll add I accidentally loaded the first fighting with the selection tool to grab the screenshot, so *that* probably is 3/4ths the damage there, but dear lord...

Yay! Any chance of a crop tool? I suck at drawing a selection area that isn’t always like 1 pixel off. 🫣

Before I started posting the stuff I made in my cartoon style, I also made quite a few of these fanart posters.
I just used the polygon selection tool, and paint-bucket fills to create a minimalist inspired style.
Though I heavily referenced official art and photos, so it's nothing original.

I have quite a minimal selection, though I'm beginning to get more adventurous- I've found the SU-Cream pencil makes my lines a little nicer than some of the others: assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail...

How to use it

1. Open Grok and generate an image or upload the image you want to edit.

2. Select Precise Mode for more targeted image editing.

3. Use the selection tool to highlight the specific area you want to change.
