As when i get a clear enough keyboard photo of a extinct unix system, i make a vector recreation of it.

Really annoyed that my slicer put the seam at the front of the print and I didn't notice until it was far too late. Darnit. 🙄

And I've got no more black filament... Double darnit.

Well shoot. I've only gone and got the Torch Triple X to boot a proper OpenTop session. 😁🎆

Took a disk image, named it HD50.hda on the BlueSCSI, used the toolkit to open the drive image, reinstalled Caretaker on it then renamed it to HD00.hda and ta-daaa!

Oh. That was easy.

I took the unix file from the original Torch XXX system (which is a later version) and copied it to the OpenTop image.

Reboot.

Run 'mknod' as per the pic and the Gotek is just there, ready to mount... Crikey.

Even on the Torch Triple X there's an adventure game. It's called, err... Adventure.

Today, supervised by Ziggy. When I put batteries in Ziggy he shouts "TICKLE!" and then spins around on the floor in a slightly unsettling manner. He currently does not have batteries.

Trying to work out the best arrangement for a BlueSCSI and a Gotek in the Torch. The Gotek mount will be reprinted in black with a Torch logo to more closely match the floppy drive colour.

Still also debating whether to try and rebuild the original power supply. 🤔

Another Torch Triple X success. Yay! My heath-robinson SCART lead now works properly.

The picture quality is TERRIBLE but that's likely down to me using two CD4011s to combine HSync and VSync. But it's proper colour!

Once I get some more time (2027 maybe?) I'll try and improve it..
