Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish are set to mark the 30th anniversary of their iconic Channel 4 sketch series, 'The Adam And Joe Show,' with a special live event at London’s Royal Albert Hall on November 11. The celebration will feature clips, memories, and behind-the-scenes stories from the groundbreaking show, which first aired in December 1996 and ran for four series until 2001. Known for its DIY approach, the programme became famous for segments like 'Toymovies,' where the duo recreated films with stuffed toys, and 'Vinyl Justice,' where they inspected celebrities’ record collections as police officers. The pair also hosted radio shows on XFM and BBC Radio 6 Music and reunited in 2016 for a 20th-anniversary event. All four series are now available on Channel 4 and WOW Presents Plus. Buxton and Cornish have joked that their toy film sketches inspired the animated comedy 'Robot Chicken,' while Cornish has since directed films like 'Attack The Block' and created the Netflix series 'Lockwood & Co.' Buxton continues as a comedian and podcaster, releasing his debut album in 2025. Tickets for the anniversary event are on sale, with pre-sales starting soon.
