I think its a lil sad Ive not seen many young budding animators look into these older toons, the OLD tradish shorts were a thing of magic seeing how few people worked on then. We should never be trying to reach high end animation when these toons are timeless examples of solid work!!

Note: This is my impression of who's big in the scene I most often play, not necessarily who I read or admire in other scenes, which would be a long list. I learn a ton about OSR from story and crunchy games. I just mostly play OSR/Tradish stuff because my groups are all 50 year old grognards.

This thing where "traditional womanhood" is taking up space with anything that had to do with the hearth, it's propaganda to pretend all that comes for free. And it's why you have tradish wife influencers now identifying as "de influencers" and getting another gravy train to monetize engagement.

Transcends "class" but whether ppl are willing to give up the material privilege like in the tradish wife scenarios, differentiates the commitment ppl have to take courage and "leave" or to just stay for better positionality in patriarchy.
There's whisper networks too of ppl just trying to get strong enough to seek out resources. Networks of ppl that just want to know that a better possibility is possible.

Which is very much why the victim blaming framing of "whether they are willing to leave" often determines survivorship bias .

I don’t eat much sugar 😭 and try to only have milk in my coffee or as cottage cheese with one meal for protein. I am very into TCM as well as tradish Yaqui medicines. The only thing is that yerbabuena is never as good for healing unless you grow it with your own love
