Sorry for asking in OpenTTD forums but the regular TTD community seems pretty dead and I cannot switch myself to OpenTTD, I prefer the old TTD version. No idea if this happens in OpenTTD. So I found an irritating bug in TTD when making double-forced depot. It seems to work quite fluently //design.png until sometimes with a bad plot-twist, third train goes into the "middle" dead-stop track and then in block the whole line for-ever: The exact plot is that when there is train1 between S1 and D1 and another train2 between S2 and D2 and another train3 is approaching S. S shows red light so train3 is waiting. Then train1 enters depot so S goes to green for a fraction of second so train3 passes S. But after a moment, train1 leaves its depot so S1 becomes red again. S2 is still red so train3 neither passes S1, nor S2 and so it wents to the middle dead stop track: //plot.png //stuck.png Or a movie for better understanding: My first idea for fixing was to move the pre-signal few fields back so the train3 can back-up safely, but this depends on the length of the train and for longer trains, it requires quite long piece of track to do not have any signals //fix1.png Next idea was to make at least one piece of track before S1 and S2 not to have any signal so that when train3 passes pre-signal S, it can choose the route for D1 or D2 even if S1 and S2 are red. But it turns out that trains prefer to choose D1 more often (but not always!) even if S2 shows green light. //fix2.png What would be your preferred idea? I’ve let this wood I had for about a year saturate with water from my old tank so it would sink (and maybe have some good bacteria on it) before I put it in this 10 gallon at work that I’m preparing for a betta. It’s been in there for a week but has developed this white, veiney looking, Warframe infection looking spots on it. Should I wash this off or nuke the wood?Posted by Gravy-Train1
