I’ll just bet it was “transactional”
Katie Zacharia maintains she ‘practiced international transaction law, with all the appropriate credentials’

lady, where in china were you ‘practicing transactional law’?
deep thoughts with Katie Zacharia: "I remember thinking, 'How is China the next country on the horizon? They don't even have proper toilets!'"

He's very transactional...

It’s even more transactional than that. He basically says that Trump officials won’t give the Times scoops unless it continues to euphemize and sanewash their anti-democracy lies and lunacy.
This morning I re-watched my video argument with the NY Times' Patrick Healy, and it's clear that the Times believes if it says explicity that the Trump regime is assaulting democracy, that would undermine its work to investigate how the regime is assaulting democracy.
What an absurd position.
🧵🧵🧵 The NY Times posted a 15-minute video today in which I got to tell NYT what’s wrong with its coverage. They said they saw my critical posts on Bluesky and invited me to do a video with them to air my grievances.
Weird, right? I didn’t hold back. I blasted their sanewashing of MAGA extremism.

Joy is not transactional

Someone as transactional as Donald Trump can't genuinely think that a $400 million jet was given without expectations of something(s) in return. Yes, he's stupid, but I don't think he's quite that stupid. Although, in fairness, he's quickly getting there . . .

I don't blame them one bit. White people are extremely transactional. It's our culture.
Please know why Black and brown folks don’t trust you…

Especially Black Women…

We know that if the price of eggs goes down even a nickel or your gas tank gets expensive to fill…

Even if YOU caused it…you will throw our humanity and existence overboard…

Over 🥚and ⛽️…

Sit with that.

Folks don't know how to genuinely enjoy people. They think everything is transactional & that's the fuckin problem.

if all of your relationships are transactional, if you ever run out of resources you may find yourself with no one left
October 15, 2026 at 8:50 PM
for all his faults I do think Bezos is transactional (laudatory)

like, viewing friendships as transactional is something a piece of shit does. its that simple.
October 13, 2026 at 5:52 PM
it makes a perverse sort of sense if you're an extremely transactional person who doesn't understand what the point of a wedding is
imagine getting an invite to your weird friend's pity party and realizing they've been seething with hatred and resentment for their entire life

“You have international legal experience in transactional law”

…isn’t that part of the problem?
Zacharia: "A lot of the misinformation, miscommunication is around the fact that I labeled myself a lawyer. I consulted for a long time many people in the field -- 'Is it ok if I label myself a lawyer?' -- and they said, 'Absolutely. You can call yourself a lawyer. You have a JD'"

EVERYTHING is transactional

And as ever, it's all about him.

He sees Ukraine as transactional, when in fact it is existential.

The final boss of transactional relationships
imagine getting an invite to your weird friend's pity party and realizing they've been seething with hatred and resentment for their entire life

Pedolf has no actual friends as we'd understand it because for him every relationship is purely transactional but you can tell an awful lot about a persons character in by who they choose to freely associate with & by that metric Pedolf is like a fly around shite.

Many in various NatSec and foreign policy circles have spent the last 2 years—last decade, really—telling themselves the Putin sympathy is a show, a negotiating tactic, or a conspiracy theory. Or that Trump is purely transactional, so make him a better offer.

Nope. Ideological affinity. It's real.

Trump is playing both sides and so is Putin. Both are transactional kleptocrats, tyrants and war criminals.

Trump is playing both sides of the war. Buying diesel from Putin and selling arms to Europe, while keeping the Straight of Hormuz closed and the Iran War going, so diesel prices are high. The Trump Crime Family are war profiteers and traitors.

Fantastic strategy by Zelenskyy. He knows Trump's transactional, and now he has leverage. 'Give me Patriots or I keep bombing Russian refineries.' It's about time.

Always transactional and EVIL.
