Tree is down.
It’s a tradition/superstition in my family for New Year’s, as is using a cut tree.
Losing the lights is a bit sad, but the concrete marking of time passing is good.
It *was* crispy.
The wreath is staying on the porch for now, for birds seeking shelter. Baubles can pack up slowly.
