Another name for my area of the world is "The Northern Rivers" so often our local wildlife has that in its common name. This is officially the "Northern Rivers Treesnail" or Posorites conscendens and I think they are great. Unofficially of course, it has other common names ;)

During Tone Loc's musical number Zak bumps into a snail. Snails are difficult. If you drew a brown snail with dark brown stripes that covers so many species. It’s a good body plan for them!
But I went by the shell shape & eyestalk colour, so I think Northern rivers treesnail!

It rained last night for the first time in quite a while, so this morning’s walk yielded up a tiny toadlet, a treesnail, and lots of cool fungi.
