I can attest, as someone who lives in a very rural area, that the characters in TREMMORS absolutely hold up. I personally know numerous character in that movie (not the giant worm)
Aside from the other benefits of a really good and tight monster movie script, one of the strengths of TREMORS (1990) is that it is a remarkably accurate portrayal of several Types Of Rural Guy in that era, doubtlessly contributing to it standing the test of time as a cinema experience.

Digital files, I want to edit them all together into a single, continual Tremmors movie in chronological timeline order. I watched them like that *once*, but got burned out after 4 movies, 13 show episodes, and zoned out/fell asleep around movies 5/6.

changing SSRIs: day 4; 1st day of the lowest dose; two more days of this and stgarting the a new med. Feeling not good, tremmors, cramps, muscles tense at random; also day 2 of having the weirdest dreams, like I've never had before. I'll let you know if CBD helps.

We all complained about how stupid and fake the ghost show was, and got Tremmors back. I did a Tremmors marathon back in 2019/2020, where I watched all of the movies and show episodes back to back. I started to lose interest around the time of the show, and spent less and less time paying attention.

Maybe if the writing and effects were better.
I remembered it being much better when I was a kid. I remember one night, my mother was working, and asked my grandmother to record one of those horrible "paranormal activity" shows, which caused my siblings and I to nearly miss out on the Tremmors ep.
