Music That Recently Found Me Artist: Anti-Everything Album: True Love Release Year: 2025 Country: 🇹🇹 Genres: Hardcore Punk, Punk Rating: 4.9/5 Length: 27 mins Anti-Everything is a Punk band from Trinidad and Tobago. I'd argue they're like Speed but instead of a flute, you have steel drum moments. Of course, they're not entirely like Speed and they just share the one thing I love hearing in Punk music. Unexpected instruments. The sound of this album is coherent yet takes you from Punk to Folk (examples: Welcome Yard and Letter to the Prime Minister) to a Metal song (True Love). Sounds don't matter as much as the message in Punk music. True Love does speak of issues left over by colonialism and wanting more fair governments in the world. Authentic in both messages and soundscape, I'd heavily recommend this album.
