As we all figured out, Kleckner still owned the TRSI warehouse. It was not under TRSI as a company at all, and nor would TRSI or CR have any motivation to want to sell or buy respectively. Why? There is a reason in accounting why this is done: tax write-offs. (2/?)

... I still don't get why Crunchyroll didn't just use the existing, vastly superior TRSI infrastructure and slap a "Crunchyroll Store: Powered by TRSI" logo on top. I had this same thing happen earlier this year with Otaku Elf.

I’ve said it before, I used to use the TRSI store multiple times per day for information and updates. I don’t think I’ve looked at the Crunchyroll store more than a handful of times in 2025.
There's not much "New" I can say about the Crunchyroll store that hasn't already been said
• A worse customer service experience
• A worse online shopping experience
• Quietly reducing discounts for In-Stock/Pre-Order/and Backorders & removing me from their affiliate program for calling it out
