Also some furries have truesonas and some furries don't. Not everyone wants a fursona with their actual quirks and name. It turned out that I didn't have to search for my truesona. That truesona has been coming to me gradually, and I know a little but someday it will come. That truesona is a dragon.

the only personal art i want to do recently is drawings of two truesonas i've been obsessing over, but i haven't been able to come up with designs i like for them so i'm in my sketching era (this is good because it means there will be a "finishing my sketches" era where i will be posting a lot)

I love truesonas, but I think people should be able to express themselves as they see fit. Like unless it's something thats like, making you hate yourself more because you're not that thing, I don't see the harm in making what you want?? And even still, if that is the case, it's none of my business.

The manner in which Ezzy and Jess were created (they were both my "truesonas" at one point) makes it very difficult to make anything of them as a traditional story. They have implicit histories that feel more like their stories have already been told. Theyre both "retired" in a manner of speaking.

Just to clarify, this isn’t me saying I “own” sea lions as a species or that other people can’t have sea lion fursonas or truesonas. That’s never been my intention. Wavez is a representation of myself, and I think there’s room for everyone to connect with the species in their own unique way.
