7 July 2019, six years ago today, saw the first organised anti-extradition protest march in Kowloon.
230,000 people showed up to march from Salisbury Garden in Tsimshatsui East to the Kowloon MTR Station.
Sharing photos (various sources) I saved on my phone from that day.

The Russian/European original background story is gone, and worst of all, all the multi-cultural dances (everyone’s favourite segments) have been 100% stripped of their origin & unbelievably replaced by Chinese & HK dances.
I was aghast at this!
About one fifth of the cast are now kids.

Characters haven’t changed but the house is now full of Chinese servants.

Afterwards, protesters had congregated in Kwun Tong, Tsimshatsui & Mongkok.
As protesters were returning home, there was a quarrel between elderly passengers & protesters at Prince Edward MTR Station.
Popos entered, boarded and indiscriminately began attacking unarmed protesters.

Had to pass by Tsimshatsui’s Star Ferry this afternoon, and I’m glad I wasn’t there to take a ferry, as there was a very long queue of mainlanders…
It’s the kind of crowds seen ten minutes after fireworks have ended…
