This is my AnalogMan modified TS-9 Tubescreamer.
I have tried many other Tubescreamers including ones with this mod, but none of them sound quite like mine.
I have no idea why, but this one just sounds different. Even with blind testing I can pick mine out of a lineup.
Part tolerances? Who knows.

It's just a clean bridge tone with some slap-back delay and picking close to the pickup. Get a tubescreamer in for a little 'Hee-Haw.' Play with the changes. MJ Lenderman type stuff.

The Ebola Circus: A one off custom drive pedal we built for someone a while back. The drive section is switchable between a modded Tubescreamer circuit or a high gain germanium Fuzz Face, and the clean boost section based on an Echoplex front end is switchable pre/post the drive circuit.

It's why on fender style EQs, you almost always end up needing to use a tubescreamer or other OD, compressing the signal to regain that missing mid presence and cleaning up the low end.
