My costume last night is my favorite one in the box. A metric-ton of white tulle & some cheap-ass white satin from Michael's. I made the infamous 1920's 1-Hour Dress from the satin & a hooded cloak from the tulle. Took me a last-minute afternoon. It's not well-constructed at all but has held up.
I’m sorry, but I am not impressed by celebrities who wear amazing costumes made by professional model making teams. Costumes should be made in your own home, by you and/or a friend or family member, primarily with hot glue and scissors.

Just rescued a Snow White who had gotten her tulle wrapped around the rear cog on her bicycle. The dress is a little worse for the wear, but she's back on the streets.

Fun fact- I dyed this corset in my bathtub and added the ruffle detailing myself! 0/10 experience, wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t mind your bathroom looking like an absolute murder scene 🥲

These colours were done as a gift for a friend. Sadly they brought the pencils/ inks quite a few years ago and we are struggling to track down the original penciller and inker. Any leads would be appreciated.

Polyester tulle is common now, to the extent that petticoats are common outside of the aesthetics and costumes that need them. Mine are tulle
