Digital full-colour illustration; an unpolished Hextech gem from Arcane Season 1 / Act 1 sits at a messy lab desk. A ray of light hits the middle of the gemstone, refracting out into a wider array of rainbow lights on the opposing side, akin to a prism. In each coloured ray from the rainbow (5 segments: red, yellow, green, blue and purple) there's a scene drawn inside of canonical events from Jayce and Viktor's timeline. In the red ray, Viktor is seen reassuring Jayce at the chalkboard of his destroyed apartment, before they've established Hextech. In the yellow ray, Jayce and Viktor are seen laughing together in the aftermath of a small invention gone wrong, that's exploded in Jayce's face and covered them both in smoke and soot. In the green ray, Jayce embraces Viktor in an excited hug as they receive their first place trophy for the Distinguished Innovators competition. In the blue ray, Jayce is presenting Viktor with a newly crafted crutch for him to use, this being the one we see in canon from Act 2 onwards, as Viktor gazes at the gift in awe. In the purple ray, Jayce is seen worriedly helping Viktor to move away from the edge of his steel oasis, implied to take place right before the end of Season 1 episode 9. Each of these scenes are representative of the 5 love languages in the order of: Words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, gift giving, and acts of service.
