fixing that problem is, in my opinion, more important than fixing the inflation rate. you can tell yourself "this was an inflation election" all you want. but bringing the inflation rate down from 3.4% to 2.5% is not going to quell this anger, and unless you do, america will turf you as well.

They want a party that does "moderation" and not that much organizing, work on voting rights, or fighting ICE or billionaires. They can't state those views openly. So polls/electability/WAR scores/margin of victory comparisons. But we are not required to play on their turf. And we should not.
We can keep debating election/polling data. But people who insist the election was only about prices (and not about corruption, democracy, ICE, voting rights) and that it vindicated only moderation (and not economic populism, turnout, organizing, mobilizing) are also expressing normative positions.
