So most of us went through a lot writing our college admissions essay, right? We pored over many drafts to to sway admissions with our story & how much merit we had to be there. Maybe we had tutorship or took a class or had a parent or teacher look at it. RFK's essay to get in Harvard was his name.

Like god bless the «postcard/sticker club, high res PSD, 10 illustrations a month, tutorship, video call» and whatever else people. But let’s be real. Perhaps 5% of art Patreons earn enough for that to actually be viable and realistic. Tending to your well being will always produce better work imo.

You know, I really wish people started seeing Hanna-Barbera as "the studio that saved the goddamn American animation industry from collapse and revolutionized a new animation industry". But most will just see them as "the studio that made cheap cartoons". Hanna-Barbera was much more than that.

The EAA is sorry to announce the passing of Prof Gheorghe Lazarovici, of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, #Romania. Many generations of Romanian archaeologists will have started their careers under his tutorship. We offer our condolences to family and friends.
When I was in high school my grandma was receiving instruction in Haitian Kreyòl through tapes curriculum & tutorship from the mom of one of my best friends in high school who also went to our church who was from Haiti.
My grandma was a cool lady who was born in the ninth ward of New Orleans & left New Orleans after graduating Xavier who was a Panafricanist very committed to having bonds all across the diaspora.

#tavqotd Dirge has three different writing styles that he slips between; block writing, which he picked up from his fathers tutorship, rough cursive which is a failed attempt in mimicking his mothers style, and a disjointed abbreviated style when he's fighting to get his consciousness on paper.

Just want to chime in to say this mirrors my experience perfectly. So many rich people seeking out tutorship for their children, for understandable reason. And it's not always the case that all rich people understand the need for a life education, which they are not giving their children personally

For any age, as long as you have a bit of basics on color theory and anatomy. Teaching from 0 would require a loooong time, so that wouldn't be possible. Theory can be studied easily on your own after all, there are so many resources online. Tutorship is meant to convert that theory into practice.
