No Time to Rest. [SFM Animation]

Deep in the war on Reach, you will rarely find moments of peace. Yeid learns this in a way that he will never forget.

Quiet Walk.

Yeid and Zohl decide to have time to themselves by going on a stroll.

To be away from the presence of the Covenant and the war, even for just a while, is enough to let the two enjoy the peace they have... as well as each other.

Yeid Ruk, the T'vaoan/Skirmisher to the left of the camera, has a Needle Rifle in his hands, a Needler on his right hip, and a blue flower on his chest. He is accompanied with Zohl, a Kig-Yar who is a jackal sniper, who is walking with him on the right side of the camera. He has a beam rifle in his hands, and on his right hand, he has a blue ring. The background consists of a sunset with godrays coming from the clouds, with a long stairway behind them and nature behind them.

The Flood.

"We got contacts! B-but they're not Covenant - they're tearing right through us!"

Rez's first contact with the Flood fills him with fear. He will never forget such a parasite.

This is a comm for BlackwatchBirb on Twitter, thank you! 💙

#halo #halospotlight #kigyar #tvaoan
Rez, an ONI Skirmisher Champion who dons black armour with red feathers/hair, is currently shooting a flood elite. Multiple forms of flood surround him and a few other marines, with one on the left side trying his best to get a flood spore off his body, and another tripping/falling in the corridor. Two flood elites are rushing Rez. He is holding a magnum in his left hand, and a shotgun he could not reload in time on his right.

Don't move.

I don't blame you for thinking I'm like the others - I know I look like one. In truth, I want out of this.

This city is dead, but has lots of answers for many questions I have.

You will help me find the truth.

Yeid Ruk, the T'vaoan/Skirmisher in view of the camera, has a Needle Rifle in his hands, pointing it at the viewer. The city has a destroyed vehicle on the top right on a bridge, buildings are destroyed in the background, a phantom has a blue light scanning the area, with a faint subtle fog surrounding him.

Decide.

Rez failed to escape being captured by the Covenant.

Yeid wants to know what it's like being a part of ONI. If he speaks, he'll get his gun... and maybe some help. If not, he'll be left alone.

This is a comm for BlackwatchBirb on Twitter, thank you! 💙

Rez, an ONI Skirmisher Champion who dons black armour with red feathers/hair, is currently being held prisoner after being captured by the Covenant. Yeid, a Skirmisher Champion who dons blue armour with blue hair, who has a blue flower on his chest and a needle rifle on his back, kneels down to make an offer. Rez's shotgun is on the ground just out of reach. He is being held in place by Covenant tech binding him to the ground.

Last Stand.

Rez isn't afraid of shooting down any Covenant scum that tries to take him down.

He refuses to surrender to the insurmountable force that overwhelms him.

Rez, an ONI Skirmisher Champion who dons black armour with red feathers/hair, is in a pelican shooting at Covenant that are trying to take him down. He is using a UNSC mounted turret. In the background, elites, grunts and jackals are fighting marines and an ODST while there's evening lighting.

Succumbing to Fate.

Reach's fall is inevitable. It will not survive the eternal torment of the Covenant's wrath. Their destruction knows no bounds.

Perhaps one day it will re-terraform, and life may return. Who can say as of now? Only time will tell.

Yeid Ruk, the T'vaoan/Skirmisher in view of the camera, has a blue flower in his hand, and a Needler on his right hand. He admires the beauty of ihis flower while the planet Reach has a destructive orange sky behind him, with a faint subtle fog surrounding him.

Ambush.

Rez and his team rapidly approach Yeid and Vkaru, catching them by surprise.

He is not a part of their team; Rez is ONI - something Yeid never thought would be possible.

This is a commission for Blackwatch - thank you so much!

The Kig-Yar/Ruuhtian to the left of the camera, whom has a beam rifle on his back and is a Jackal Sniper (a member of the Jha'Kaar), has a ring with a blue gem on his right hand finger. Yeid Ruk, the T'vaoan/Skirmisher to the right of the camera, has a blue flower on his chest, and a Needler on his right thigh. These two have their hands together in what appears to be a handshake. Behind them, a train is speeding past them blurry in the distance while the evening sun shines down upon the two jackals.

Let's Talk.

When they return to High Charity, a member of the Jha'Kaar promises Yeid that he can get him and his fellow grunt friend shields like the elites.

All he asks for in return... is their trust.

Eight members of the Covenant are aboard a human train with evening sunlight. It is lively and full. The Kig-Yar to the left of the camera, whom has a beam rifle on his back and is a Jackal Sniper (a member of the Jha'Kaar), has a ring with a blue gem on his finger. Yeid Ruk, the T'vaoan to the right of the camera, has a blue flower on his chest, and a Needler on his left thigh. For the background, an Officer ranked elite's foot can be seen on the bottom left corner which is blurry. Yultep the Unggoy is looking at Yeid, and Vkaru Vahro is looking down slightly. A General ranked elite is holding a concussion rifle and standing to the right, while a Ranger ranked elite is at the furthest back of the image, looking relatively straight down ahead of the view.

Yultep, a Spec Ops Unggoy/Grunt in purple armour, stands to the right of Yeid. The Skirmisher has a blue flower on his chest. An Elite/Sangheili with white Ultra armour named Vkaru Vahro, holding two Plasma Rifles - one in each hand - stands to the left of Yeid. Three humans off in the background on the left side of the image are running up to attack the trio. To the bottom right, a warthog with one driver, and at the top right, a UNSC ship, can be seen.

Yeid, I saw you in a dream.

You were looking down upon New Alexandria in the rain, feeling melancholic upon the destruction of the city.

You were quiet... observant... disappointed.

You wished things could be better; if only you knew the future of Reach.

Reverence.

Back on his home planet before he joined the Covenant, it is tradition for him to wear a kimono to signify his character and participate in culture.

While he misses home, he is more than happy to remember what makes his world a beautiful one.

A blue Jackal / Skirmisher / T'vaoan from the game Halo Reach (My OC named Yeid Ruk) stands in the middle of the art piece. He has his eyes closed with a peaceful expression on his face as he plays the violin while a blue butterfly rests on the tip. In the background, mountains with shading, birds off in the distance, and an evening sky with stars can be seen in the background. Yeid wears a black and blue kimono with white rings at the end of the sleeves.
