Chapter illustration from the fanfic: The World Ends with Witches. It depicts Rhyme encountering the Progfox, a unique white fox Noise with distinct yellow tribal tails. Crimson foxfire floats by its paws, and it holds a stick in its mouth. Rhyme seems mystified as she stands watching it. The background shows a distinctly autumn and Halloween-themed version of Udagawa.

After spending 3 years out at sea with a crew of pirates, Beat recently returned to Shibuya as a bounty hunter hired by Konishi. His mission: bring her the shapeshifting cat Rhyme.

Chapter illustration from the fanfic: The World Ends with Witches. It depicts a younger Neku and present-day Shiki, who looks like Eri, trapped in a dark void. Shiki tightly clasps Neku's hand with both her own despite the burns one of her hands has suffered, one black glove on and one off. Neku looks on in shock. Both have tears in their eyes as the tail ends of Neku's scarf burn bright with fire and scatter beautiful blue cinders around them.

More from the witch AU~ This time we have Josh's mansion in all its way-too-huge glory.

As for why he has a mansion, and the whole note about Shiraha on here... I'll get into that when I post him tomorrow.

Nagi, too, is an ordinary person in the witch AU--albeit one who simply must buy the sword of her favorite book character. But when Rindo gets involved with a real-life version of that book character, well... Nagi's not far behind.

Last up for the witch AU portraits--we have Shoka~

When Shoka first meets Shiki, she's under a curse--one that turns her invisible. However, thanks to the sigil woven on the back of her hoodie and an enchantment, she can now meet her friends again.

Chapter illustration from the fanfic: The World Ends with Witches. It depicts a younger Neku with his best friend, Souma Yasuda (an semi-original character). They're both smiling in a photo together with Souma's arm around Neku's neck. Both are wearing distinctive yokai-esque clothing. Neku's modern take is themed purple, black, and blue with a large black twin-tailed scarf. Souma's haori is themed green, white, and red with several jade magatama. The fringes of the photo are steadily burning away, signifying misfortune and tragedy.

I dabble in graphic design & UI work on top of digital art. If you're familiar with Aya's super long TWEWY Halloween AU—The World Ends with Witches ( #tweww )—I'm her partner of sorts on that, too. She writes, I edit~ We're both crazy.

My TWEWY OTPs are Neshiki & Rindoka. I love them both lots. 💕

Time for Neku from the Witch AU~

Shiki's first meeting with Neku leaves both of them annoyed, but when he stops by her shop later for his employer, she decides to give him another chance.

The only question is who does he work for?

Rindo from the witch AU now~

Rindo's been wrapped in bandages ever since an accident that occurred on his way into Shibuya. With a strong latent ability, the witch Sho Minamimoto soon recruits Rindo as an apprentice--but then why does Shiki get a bad feeling around him?

But hey, if he can be a part of the awesomeness, why wouldn't he join in?

Chapter 92: The Vampire and the (Were-)Cat

Joshua finally receives a Pig Noise from Shiki—and the accompanying Shoka.

Meanwhile, Nagi works to dispel the piling tensions in her group.

Excerpt from The World Ends with Witches, with Joshua on the right side. He's wearing a vampire outfit with a black cloak, and there's a white rabbit perched on his shoulder. Chapter 91: The Vampire and the (Were-)Cat “Ah yes, I just figured out how you can repay me in full for the sigil,” Joshua said, cutting off any further conjecture about his past. Shoka visibly braced herself, her sharp glare anticipating some kind of deal with the devil. “If you think you’re gonna get me to work for you, then you can shove it.” Joshua smirked. “Hee hee… Too bad. I imagine a maid outfit would suit you well. It already captures your general aesthetic, and I’m sure your boy toy would be quite interested in seeing you flaunt.” Shoka’s irritation boiled over into bright red embarrassment—in record time, too.

The World Ends with Witches Chapter 88

Chapter 88 excerpt with Shiki in her witch outfit on the side, Mr. Mew cheering. Chapter 88: A Moment with You “Why not? It’s our date.” Neku reached up to his shoulder as Mr. Mew hopped up, bopping the doll’s nose. “What do you think, Piggy?” Neku blinked, his hand suddenly drawing away with a frown. “Since when did your doll make sounds?” Shiki tilted her head, glancing up at the two. “He doesn’t make sounds…” “Really? ‘Cause I just heard an ‘oink.’” Shiki immediately grimaced, pulling her precious plush over to her own shoulder instead. “Mr. Mew is a cat! He doesn’t go ‘oink,’ he goes ‘mew’!”
