Wonderful things the excellent Reform council of South Tyneside have announced recently:

- Closure of all, yes, *all* council run nurseries

- Closure of at least one community centre

- Cancellation of the Christmas parade (that's right, the Christians are cancelling Christmas!)

Fun fact, did you know Yiddish "shanda" is a cognate of the Scots "shand" meaning "worthless" - and also possibly related to (if it's not from Romani) "shan", used in Edinburgh and Tyneside to mean "unfair"?

Also Lawler is a bellend
Mike Lawler: "Chuck Schumer is a Shanda -- a disgrace"
