That just sounds like typecasting

Noah Wyle’s presence is a BIG part of it – would this case have got so far without him? Can typecasting be introduced as evidence or defence?

This is basically typecasting Lillard but God would it be funny to have Shaggy's voice come out of Carnage's mouth.

I was actually thinking about Pattinson as a potential choice for Bond a few weeks ago but then batted it away in my mind and then this pops up lmao. One of the best British actors we have; I do think some people are typecasting him by picturing this as another weirdo role to add to his repertoire
Robert Pattinson has emerged as a contender for 007.

Multiple sources tell THR that Pattinson is among those who have screen tested for the role of James Bond, joining hopefuls Callum Turner, Jack Lowden and Josh O’Connor.

I kid Toby that his typecasting niche is "soulful hick," but yeah... he's a Marshalltown boy.

He might be the funniest guy I've ever met, and I've met some very funny guys.

She's responsible to the transformation of a Doctor into a ruthless killing machine both times

An interesting typecasting
Camryn @rhotrans.bsky.social and I have both been joking about how Clare Higgins (Julia), who gives massive Michelle-Gomez-as-Missy vibes in this film particularly, could definitely play a Time Lord. We weren't far wrong — she's recurring New Who character Ohila, of the Sisterhood of Karn

I almost forgot. This guy Tom rocks out loud!

He got past the typecasting and was able to label the whole thing a cult. On Fox.

It’s kind of typecasting but I’ll take it.

Ha! You'd love her; she plays "Weird little ginger girl who loves torturing insects", which is obviously typecasting ;)

I didn't know she played the dummy. #TheFilmCrowd

saw WICKER tonight. very very good. olivia colman obviously smashed it as the lead. peter dinklage does well despite the continued typecasting as enigmatic & singular (not his fault). also enjoyed elizabeth debicki's repressed rival. also wicker man cock!!!

altogether... 4 out of 5 squeaks, i think

Wish they’d stop typecasting him in wolf or wolf-like roles though.

I can understand that.

What I appreciated is that the outdoor scenes were actually outdoors.
A minimum of CGI - Cyclops excluded - and a couple during the storm.

And if there was ever typecasting, Charlize Theron as a demi-goddess is it.

She was on this season of Strange New Worlds. It was the "Soap Opera" episode. She plays the ship's Psychologist/Therapist. Typecasting, but if you're gonna spoof soap opera, and have a psychotherapist, get the Queen of Soaps.

The year according to Peter Haining’s ‘Doctor Who: The Key to Time’ — Today in 1966: We’re so lucky that sensible minds prevailed over some of Troughton’s wilder anti-typecasting ideas. (Never mind typecasting, he may never have worked again!)…

Clancy Brown joked about the typecasting he’s fallen into: “Whenever producers are looking for some to play an authority figure that’s a total a-hole, they go ‘Hey, let’s give Clancy a call.’”

Eventually Bey tired of typecasting and moved back to Vienna in the 1950s, becoming a photographer and directing plays. He returned to Hollywood in the early ‘90s, appearing on Murder She Wrote, Babylon 5, and other TV shows. He listed #TheAmazingMrX as one of his favorite roles. #TheNoirCollective
