Had the new front door fitted today 🚪 Gone is the 90s uPVC. Natural wood in, more befitting of the cottage. Now to hang the Christmas wreath...

If these were round our way they'd get replaced with dark grey upvc versions to avoid having to repaint them.

A rather wonderfully proportioned traditional red sandstone on Balvicar Street on the Southside of Glasgow. It's also nice to see a block with almost all sash-style windows, rathet than modern uPVC replacements.
